The Kings Army is the official Supporters club for the EP Rugby Union, Isuzu Southern Kings. The Southern Kings is based at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium along Prince Alfred Road in Port Elizabeth , South Africa.The Kings Army is recognized by Isuzu Southern Kings as the official supporters club. Membership is open to all supporters of rugby who are passionate about Rugby.
Membership will include Stadium Tours, meet and greet at various functions by selected players and will be different players as the season progresses.
Membership fees and structures will be set up and posted on our membership page and on our Facebook page. Please note The Kings Army is a non profit organization, we do this for the love of the Isuzu Southern Kings. We are not currently affiliated to the EP Kings and EP Rugby in anyway, but run separately as a volunteer organization. We have our own Constitution. EP Rugby Union recognizes the Kings Army as the official supporters

The Southern Kings first ever match was against the British and Irish Lions and was played on the 16th of June 2009 at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.Southern Kings Starting XV:15. Tiger Mangweni , 14. Josh Fowles , 21. Bevin Fortuin , 22. Mzwandile Stick Sboniso Mhlongo entered the Kings Arms. He shouted with a loud voice to the bar tender and said “give me braai (BBQ) meat worth R100 together with pap, and give everyone here braai meat worth R100 and pap. When I eat I want everyone to eat too”
The whole bar was served and the crowd got excited. Then Sboniso said “give me a nip of mellow wood brandy and give everyone a nip too, because when I drink I want everyone to drink too” The crowd was served and they were so pleased and they said “wow Mhlongo you are the man” When they were all done Sboniso shouted “please give me my bill and give everyone else theirs too, because when I pay my bill, I want everyone to pay theirs too.”
His Funeral is tomorrow.
